Title: Finding Financial Security with Melissa Timberman
Description: We grow up, we go to school, we enter a career of some sort… but when do we learn about how money works? There’s no secret formula, there’s no school curriculum; and so we learn about car buying from a car salesman, and we open up our first credit card with only the barest idea of how they work. That’s no way to learn! We are intelligent, adult ladies- and we deserve the very best financial education.
In today’s presentation, we will explore our relationship to money, and take a critical look at how we generate- and how we are a good steward of- our money. I also like to address how women differ from men in these areas- not better or worse; just different. I will also briefly cover several money management strategies that are tax-advantaged for small business owners.
1. You will feel validated in your approach to money- both in how it’s made, and in how it’s managed.
2. You will have strategies on how to deal with inevitable money conflicts- with either a business or romantic partner.
3. You will have strategies to explore, regarding money management and your future as an individual and a business owner.
