Jason Koh, D.D.S.

Dr. Jason Koh got his undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from the University of St. Thomas located in Houston, Texas. Developing a system that helped people be more efficient really intrigued him. Dr. Kohn then went on to dentistry at the University of Texas earning his Advanced Education in General Dentistry. He continued his education at the University of Texas and received his final degree in Endodontics. Even though his schooling is over, Dr. Kohn still likes to educate himself around patient care and new technology. Dr. Koh even has his own podcast called The Happier Dentist, which helps dentists reduce burnout and improve enjoyment and fulfillment in their professional and social lives.

Dr. Koh loves working with his hands and being in a place that could help others. His mom was also a dentist and enjoyed it, which helped him decide early on about his career path. In his career, he has been involved in a few different associations such as the, American Dental Association, American Dental Educators Association, and American Association of Endodontists. When Dr. Kohn isn’t working and involved in different organizations he enjoys being out in nature, immersing himself in books, and learning something new about the world. Dr. Koh is also working on building a dental mission trip that would allow himself and others to volunteer their time and skills.

There are two quotes said by Jim Rohn that Dr. Koh keeps close to his heart. “Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.” Along with, “Don’t wish it was easier wish you were better. Don’t wish for less problems wish for more skills. Don’t wish for less challenge wish for more wisdom.” Which relates back to his career journey seamlessly.
