Sarah Chang, DMD

Dr. Sarah Chang was born in Maryland with her younger sister to Korean parents. As a family, they lived in New York, Oregon and Washington.

She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, School of Dental Medicine. During her time in school, Dr. Chang had the opportunity to volunteer in community outreach programs to help the homeless, Veterans, children and battered women. To recognize her accomplishments Dr. Chang received many awards including: the Bud Tarrson Dental School Student Community Leadership Award, the Huntridge Homeless Project Community Service award and the Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Achievement Award. In addition, she has two research papers from 2012 and 2010 published in the Cancer Cell International & Journal of Dietary Supplementation.

Dr. Chang is excited to be a part of the PERFECT TEETH™ network which will allow her to practice professionally in a supportive and collaborative environment. Dr. Chang is member of multiple professional organizations including the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

What is Dr. Chang’s practice philosophy? “I believe that education is the key! Proper oral care begins with the right education and I am glad that I can help patients learn about how to take an active role in their oral health.”

What makes Dr. Chang smile? She says that her family and friends are very important to her and they sure know how to make her happy. She likes to call herself a “foodie” and truly enjoys cooking and trying new cuisines.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Chang loves to travel. She loves to visit different cities, states as well as international destinations. Exploring other cultures brings her great joy. She also loves baking, crafting, photography, hiking and yoga.
