John White, DDS, MS

An Arizona native, Dr. John White is a proud University of Arizona alumnus. After graduating from the University of Arizona in Tucson, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Tennessee and he earned his Masters of Biomedical Science at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. A Certificate of Endodontics was awarded to him after a residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. Dr. White served eight years in the USAF Dental Corps and taught part time in the endodontic department at the University of Colorado School of Dentistry.

He is a Life Member of the American Association of Endodontists and the American Dental Association. Dr. White is also a member of the Arizona Dental Association and the Central Arizona Dental Society. He is Board Qualified and has been a practicing Endodontist for more than 25 years.

In his practice, he promises to makes his patients feel relaxed and comfortable and show them that root canals can be routine and aren’t something to be dreaded. The term “root canal” can cause anxiety in patients and he does his best to reduce that fear by listening to his patients’ needs and concerns. “It is a satisfying feeling to relieve someone of pain and help them maintain a tooth that contributes to their health and wellbeing.”

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. White enjoys reading and being in the outdoors. He has a lifelong interest in the history of Arizona and the Southwest and he enjoys his four wheeling adventures to historic sites. He alsoenjoys time with his wife and family as well as his two dogs, Shadow and Foxy.
