Dr. Rachael Tyler McGehee, D.D.S., M.D.

Dr. Rachael Tyler McGehee, D.D.S., M.D. is a full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgeon. She grew up in Virginia and received her undergraduate degree from University of Virginia in Biology.  She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2013 and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Following dental school she completed her six-year program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans. This included earning her M.D. in 2016 and  completing a general surgery internship at University Medical Center, a level 1 trauma center in New Orleans. Her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency included a special emphasis in plastic and reconstructive surgery, head and neck surgery, dental implants and anesthesiology.

Her practice interest includes dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, hard and soft tissue grafting, orthognathic surgery, treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders, benign pathology, and the management of oral and maxillofacial trauma. Dr. McGehee is a member of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Medical Association and the American Dental Association.

Dr. McGehee resides in Monument with her husband, Brandon and daughter, Emma. She enjoys an active lifestyle biking, snowboarding, playing tennis, scuba diving, boating, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
